This policy explains how fabric inquiries, sample swatch orders, sample yardage orders, payments and order confirmations work on tanganatextiles.com.

Trade purpose

The website is intended primarily for trade and business users. Sample orders are provided for material evaluation and sourcing purposes. They are not production orders, bulk orders or guarantees of future availability.

Product options

Fabric Inquiry

Use this option to request a quote, ask about production yardage, discuss custom requirements, confirm availability, request technical information or speak with Tangana about your project.

A Fabric Inquiry is listed at $0.00 because it is a request, not a paid order. It does not create a binding quotation, stock reservation or sales contract.

Sample Swatches Order

Sample swatches allow you to review fabric appearance, colour direction, construction and hand feel. Where stated on the product page, this option may allow an order of up to 15 fabric samples for a fixed price with flat-rate shipping included.

Sample Yardage Order

Sample yardage allows you to test a limited length of material before production. Where stated on the product page, this option may allow an order of up to 5 fabric pieces, each 3 yards long, for a fixed price with flat-rate shipping included.

Order acceptance

An automated order confirmation means that we received your order request. It does not mean that the order has been finally accepted if there is a pricing error, stock issue, shipping issue, payment issue, suspected fraud, product restriction or other problem.

We may accept, decline, cancel or refund an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product, sample, carrier, shipping method or payment method is unavailable.

Prices and currency

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice. Taxes, duties, customs charges, brokerage fees and shipping charges may be added or calculated at checkout, unless a product option specifically states that a standard flat-rate shipping charge is included.

Taxes

Applicable taxes are calculated based on the order, destination, product type and platform settings. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, customs charges, brokerage fees or import costs that apply to your order unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payment methods

Accepted online payment methods may include:

• American Express;
• PayPal;
• other methods displayed at checkout.

Payment is due at checkout for online sample orders unless Tangana agrees otherwise in writing. For production orders or custom orders, separate payment terms may be confirmed in a quotation, pro forma invoice, sales order, invoice or written agreement.

Billing information

You must provide accurate billing and payment information. You may use the shipping address as the billing address where the checkout allows it and where the information is accurate. We may request additional information if payment verification, fraud screening or business verification is required.

Payment authorization and fraud screening

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Orders may be subject to payment authorization, fraud screening and address verification. Tangana may cancel or hold an order if payment cannot be verified.

Bulk and production orders

Bulk orders, production yardage, wholesale rolls, custom dyeing, custom printing, reserved stock, special orders and recurring supply programs are not governed only by the website checkout. They require separate written confirmation from Tangana, including applicable specifications, minimums, lead times, payment terms, shipping terms and tolerances.

Product tolerances

Textile products may have reasonable variations in colour, weight, width, shrinkage, stretch, finish and hand feel. Where a product page states a tolerance, such as +/- 5%, that tolerance should be considered part of the product information unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

No resale of samples as guaranteed production goods

Sample swatches and sample yardage are supplied for evaluation. They should not be treated as guaranteed production stock or as a complete representation of all future lots.
